Mark Wilson, the inmate in question, heinously murdered two people, and pled guilty to avoid the death penalty. He was sentenced to two terms of life in prison by the Judge who found it clear that he should have been put to death. His incarceration has been a financial drain on the Oregon Corrections Department's limited budget to the tune of around $400,000 a year that would otherwise have been used to better conditions for the other inmates. Leave it to the Huff&Puff to make a hero out of him.
