Like you said, you won't find fairness in politics. Politics has become a game of all or nothing, especially for the right. Sometimes you have to play hardball.
I would like to see it totally outlawed as well to force a modicum of bipartisanship. But, yeah can't let the Republicans in control here until it is outlawed.
Him, DeSantis and Trump. Either you're a piece of shit, or you're a dullard who has no idea what they stand for but you like how they make you feel power over women, children, minorities and the poor.
Oh the list is far longer than that. Cruz? Marjorie? Jim Jordan? I mean it’s a poopoo platter of awfulness. They all need to go away. Permanently.
Republican candidate for Colorado governor wants to outlaw all abortions. No exceptions. He was arrested for assaulting his pregnant wife.
Why are we all forgetting Moscow Mitch who wouldn’t even give a judge a hearing 18 months away from the next election but hammered through a judge in 3 months just 3 years later?
How many Florida representatives use Venmo as a "dating app" for teenagers? I'm sorry, but Republicans have absolutely ZERO moral high ground.
You don’t arrest them before they do anything. I seriously doubt that there’s any risk of the Republicans gaining control in Oregon given the demographics of the valley.
Everybody does “things”. I expect that and I don’t ever assume that politicians will play “fair”. I don’t have a problem with them doing “things” within the law. Just be honest enough to accept that there’s little honor on either “side”.
Republican lawmakers know they can get abortions for their wives and daughters whenever they want; they're rich and can just fly them to Canada for a weekend. It's always been that way. They don't morally believe in outlawing abortion, it's just how authoritarianism implements itself. The lesser must be shaped and controlled, the greater have freedoms they somehow earned.
Too many are waking up to the reality that the wealth gap is ever widening, as the middle class has all but disappeared. Too many voices are speaking out for change, as a fettered progress has finally made some headway. Alas, it is time to put the underlings back in their place, clear out all progress and once again cement the power structure.
