Game 4..what ya waiting for

Too much poking at the puck instead of being physical. Pittsburgh just making more plays offensively.

 

Aside from a couple periods the Pens have been the better team so far in this series. Rangers have average passing, average puck possession skills, players who fucking refuse to shoot when they get the puck in slot with some room, washed up defensemen that take bad penalties every game. Its really frustrating to watch them right now.

 

So the bruins goal stood...no goalie interference?

 

Maybe they can have another good 2nd period and build a lead.

 

Terrible 1st period. Not inspiring in a must win game. And I think Kreider broke his collarbone. We'll see.

And this Nemeth thing is a joke. Both Gallant and Drury f'd up on that one. Gallant for playing him every game, and Drury for not realizing his mistake and adding another dman. Play any kid over him, please.

My hope left after that 1st period. I am now in a place where I think they are done. I hated that 1st in a must win spot.

 

Thank god Kreider okay - I thought for sure that was bad. One positive.

 

If they would just keep things simple they'd probably be in a better spot. Shoot, clear the puck and hit some people.

 

Jesus Igor c'mon man.

 

This has been without a doubt the worst game we have played. Not even a debate IMO. This series is done. No one was more positive than me, but this crap tonight is enough. What a joke. Pretty every facet of the game. Igor looks bad, Z doesn't show up, lose every FO. This series is DONE.

I thought this was a great matchup for us, turns out doesn't matter as the Pens or Caps would have rolled us.

Rangers playing like a bunch of fucking pussies again.

 

Faceoffs have KILLED this team all season. And last season. And the season before that. And before that. Series over fellas. Gallant needs to blame himself for losing this series. Dressing Nemeth was a terrible idea. And then Lindgren got hurt and forced us to play Braun too now. So we have 2 8th defensemen (yes 8th because neither should be a 7) playing for us.

 

All we can do is hope they learn from this and big picture it helps them. Need some changes though. Cannot re-sign Strome. Need a much better dman than Nemeth on the 3rd pair. Hopefully re-sign Copp. Need to add someone who can actually win a mother f'ing FO.

That Lindgren injury looming very large.

 

Too small, slow and soft.

 

I think Braun is fine on the 3rd pair. Nemeth should have been benched a long time ago. That one I don't get. And Drury with a huge miss there and didn't make up for it at the trade DL.

 

Basically what we all said would be the undoing of this team in the preseason and early on is showing up now. Weak dmen, can’t win a face off, struggles to find goals at even strength.
