Game 5 Pens vs. lame ass Rangers

Whole PP left the vets on and never put the kids on the ice who have been dominating play.

 

I would’ve preferred seeing the kids line out there honestly. Good shots yes, but the kids line has earned the PP time.

 

Fox still not using the wrist shot enough.

 

There wasn't a chance as the puck was in the zone for pretty much all of the pp

 

They got some chances, but after what we have seen tonight and in the series, why no kids on PP? Gallant - players coach...

 

I would’ve started them out there with Copp taking the face off as he’s been our best face off man

 

Rangers getting back the intensity they were lacking....this is playoff hockey. Every shift from now until the end of the game has got to be a battle.

 

Fair enough...however the unit did have tough shots..

 

The kids deserve the time IMO.

 

Man, Gallan is such a stubborn mule. This first pp unit has scored shit in this series. Play the guys with hot hands.

 

Make them pay here. Need to convert on this PP.

Where are the Kreider backdoor plays like the Penguins have had 65 times?

 

Why is there always an open pens player in the ranger zone? What kind of defensive system is this.

 

Unfortunately the Pens don't seem to give up those types of chances..

 

That backdoor was open right there for the Pens....wow.

Hard to see that coming down 2-0, but good for them. The way we played in games 3 & 4 it is difficult to see us winning in Pittsburgh, but anything can happen. Maybe Crosby is out, and maybe Igor gets over his issues, and maybe we actually play some D with Lindgren back.

We somehow win game 6 and we'd be in a great spot.
