I know I like making "busier" sigs than you guys here do, but I still like it and thought I'd see what you guys thought.

Got this one off of nfl.com yesterday......it was one of the 3 rotating pics on the main page yesterday.
Do you use a program to cut/crop or do you just have a steady hand? That's the part of my graphics I need help on, I'm stuck in my ways of searching for cuts and being limited to what I can find.

Use either the Pen tool or the Polygonal lasso tool to select the bg and then delete.

I use the circle eraser tool (size 9) and erase the outline of the player erasing the original bg. The places that come to small areas or sharp corners I use the circle (size 3) to do. Once I have the entire outline complete I use the circle (size 19) to erase all that's left of the original bg. Then I'm done.I don't use the pen or lasso tool at all.
