    I find it highly questionable that Cronin's model is to draft super risky players. What dispensary does Quick go to I wonder.

    We don’t have to win 2023 championship or bust. We have a chance for a rookie to grow into potential in a couple years. Dame won’t drop off a cliff before then.

    I don't think Dame is demanding we win the title in 2023 or he leaves. He's more patient than that. If you can get a guy that is All Star in a couple years, you do it. Dame will still be here.

    Dwyane Wade was NBA Finals in MVP in his third season. If we draft a guy who can grow that quickly, we do it.

    The template has been Barnes. Dude played like 35 mpg in the playoffs.

    How about Herb Jones averaging almost 40 mpg in the playoffs?

    Even a player like Batum was helpful to us in his rookie year. Roy was like a #7 pick, right? Would Dame not be able to wait a couple years for a Brandon Roy type player to realize his potential?

    for every herb Jones and Scottie Barnes there three dudes sitting at the end of the bench waving a towel. If they contribute great. But to expect them to fill immediate needs is wild.

    Yeah we want the Herb Jones and Scottie Barnes types then. Or a future All Star 2-3 years down the road. Dame can wait 2 years for a legit star teammate from this draft.
