I'm sorry I don't remember exactly which link it was. There are a lot of them if you just google Congressional Staff requirements or qualifications.

Do you really think Marjorie Taylor Greene is mature enough to hire a democrat or someone that didn't support her very narrow flavor of conservatism?

I know that there have been presidential administrations that have hired staff outside of political affiliations, but this is MTG we're talking about.

This discussion is about who those dudes are that were with her when she tried to enter the building where her political opponent was. They are likely staff members, but I have seen no proof of that. And who knows what positions of hers they supported? I certainly don't know. Are we supposed to assume they are racist Nazi's that are there to intimidate?

The ones with phone out, snickering, making sure they were all in the door way where the black candidate could see them. Yeah, that's totally not intimidating.

There was one guy with his phone out and he was standing behind Greene. And he was the smallest of the 3 guys. The other two I doubt were visible to anyone on the other side, but who knows? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how that is intimidating.

Think about it. Put yourself in the opponents shoes.

A black candidate is sitting in his campaign office. Greene, a known far right politician who has attended and thrown rallies that are racist and preach violence, walks in surrounded by four white dudes. That wouldn't be intimidating?

That's just it. Nobody walked in. Greene was in the doorway and the others were outside. I doubt he could even see two of them anyway. And there were 3 white dudes, not 4. The gist I got from the Twitter post is that he was not intimidated anyway.

She was a step in. One of the guys was right behind her in clear view with his phone out filming. There were four. There were all pretty close to one another, snickering like highschool kids pranking someone. They were within view from the door.

Yeah, he wasn't because he's a badass, but alot of black candidates would be. Greene isn't a nice person. She wasn't there just drop in a say hello, and welcome him.

There was 3 as far as I could tell. The fourth guy came by at the end, he wasn't part of the original party. I don't think two of them were visible as well. Especially with all of the campaign posters hanging on the window. I agree that Greene isn't a nice person. I would not support her.

Maybe in some economies, but right now, every business has a 'we're hiring' sign up. It's a choice to work for a crazy racist troll.

I'd guess these are more likely to be campaign staff than congressional staff. If they are congressional staff, then MTG is probably using them illegally here - not that that would be a big surprise.

It should be, but no. Mostly likely just another sobering moment in which those who care will push for change and those who don't will once again stand in the way of that change.

The only cure is an injection of bleach.

    Might work this time...
