More like the one that is gas operated with a rotating bolt and a pistol grip that also fits 10, 20, 30, 50 round magazine. The ArmaLite 15 style comes in a bunch of different makeups. Nobody anywhere uses these guns for varmints or game. They don't use the M1 either for that matter. This conversation isn't worth having. It's for a bunch of idiots who want to make themselves feel like they know weapons. We are well past this conversation as a country. Or at least should be.
Stupid question. Edit- Hypothetical situation. I'm carrying both my AR-15 and my M1. I somehow move the safety lever from the off to on position on both of the rifles. I accidentally pull the trigger on my AR-15 4 times and blow four of my toes off and the reaction from that made me lose my balance and pull the trigger of my M1 which goes off and the bullet ricochets off a wall and hits someone in the head and kills them. The M1 did more damage so must be more dangerous. This is why that question is stupid.
You’re conflicted about what - using a gun to finish off MTG? Don’t be. Although people in here are going to get in a tizzy about it. Bullets need to find their ways to a bunch of these animals
I readily admit I know Jack shit about guns. I just think maybe glorifying them and glorifying violence against people who slight us might be a bad idea. Or that anyone can get a gun, etc.
When the Sandy Hook investigation was over they tore down the entire school and rebuilt a new one. This obviously needs to happen here in Texas. I wonder if the great state of Texas will put the financial burden on this poor community or are they going to step up with funding and get this process moving? School starts back up again in August there. There is no way these kids can ever go back to the school but I also hope they don't stick these kids in overcrowded trailers for the next 2-3 years while the community struggles to figure out what to do. The nation needs to keep focused on what happened there and make sure they have the resources to move forward quickly and healthily.
Yeah try to reduce the massive damage to every child in that school. This is going to change Texas in a number of ways. Maybe not enough of them but it will have an effect.
Almost 600 students are enrolled at Robb Elementary. I would think pretty much every one of them will need help dealing with this issue.
And a good chunk may never return to a school setting again. How many parents will say ‘nope…we’re done with that’? Parents who don’t even have kids who go to schools that experience this are already doing it.
That's an extremely random and unlikely scenario. What's with the aggression? Just because we have different points of view? Are you hoping to outlaw all semiautomatic, or just large magazines? Or just the ones that look scary? How about this comparison?
Seriously, not sure what the aggression and personal insults are about... I had more respect for you than that. So if somebody makes a large capacity magizine for a rifle it should be outlawed? Should pistols be outlawed if they can accept magazines?
Sorry, but if Texas politicians are truly representative of the people who voted them in, it's only going to get much worse. All you have to do is look at the "solutions" these morons keep touting. All I can see is Texas in general getting more red neck, recalcitrant and belligerent........
Because they know the cops are going to worry about their own safety first over a bunch of kids......
No aggression. You just seem to continue to want to insult my intelligence. “Look Scary” This conversation isn’t worth having it is what waters down the problem every time INNOCENT CHILDREN GET KILLED! The aggression was when the shooter was killing people. Try to stay on track here.
