Looks great! My sister is on a trip that goes through Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, and London right now. She left last Friday.

Holy shit, airfare prices are jacked the fuck up this summer.

Best value for that July weekend is either Memphis or Mexico City.

 

I'm going to Barcelona on June 15th for the start of my first Eurotrip, so this is great to read.

I thought the all city tour was a bit rushed. I'd buy tix to Sagrada Familia and Park Guell separately if I were you.

This hotel had a badass roof across from the Old Gothic Cathedral. No admission, just need to buy a drink.



If you are there on a weekend, go to the Magic Fountain show at Montjuic. Its really awesome.

I've got two Brazilian National Team Futbol jerseys...my ex coworker was Brazilian and gifted me them a couple of times...they pass as Ducks gear from a distance and I don't have any Ducks gear....I've got Beavers stuff around here.

Went to Disneyland yesterday. holy fuck it was crowded.

Thought Star Wars land was pretty lame. Galaxy's Edge was ok, but Millenium Falcon was trash.

 

Assuming I am able to, my wife and I are heading to Bora Bora next spring

 

We were looking at that. Would be interested to see as Tahiti/Bora Bora would be a future trip.

The things that steered us away right now:

1. We're not the type to be able to sit at a resort and do nothing for 7 days.
2. It seems like it'd be pretty similar to Hawaii, but nicer but more expensive.

 

At my age it’s about the hospitality. We have heard great things from friends of ours. Hawaii is cool, but other than it being Hawaii, the experience was the same as staying anywhere

 

My cousin from New Zealand goes there often and loves it....for seafood, beautiful quiet beaches and relaxation that's my idea of a good time...I like to fish and snorkel so it's right up my alley...last thing I want from a vacation is a loud crowded city with neon and tourists everywhere and I don't drink or gamble so....I think you'll have a great time there!
