I saw Batman. Story was boring, was like watching a Zodiac remake with costumes. Good cinematography and score. The Nolan ones won’t be topped, with they’d stop trying to just recreate them.
Saw Top Gun Maverick yesterday and loved it. Action is just better when you know it's the real thing instead of CGI. Great action, some funny moments and it flew by. Definitely recommend seeing it in theaters.
The new Firestarter is dreadful. I turned it off after less than an hour. Tho original movie, with Drew Barrymore in the lead, followed the book pretty closely, but this one was way off. And I lost all sympathy for Charlie after she torched a cat.
Went to 'Everything, Everywhere, All at Once' this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe it's because I stay away from most of the Marvel drivel that I haven't tired of the 'multiverse' story telling but this was at least a somewhat original idea/story. The main actress does a great job, loved seeing Short Round back on camera and of course Jamie Lee Curtis is amazing. Give it a solid 8/10.
The Northman was about as perfect as it could be. Simple Viking story with gorgeous cinematography and the right amount of weirdness.
Holy shit, just finished this. What a truly unique and uplifting movie. You can help but smile at the end. "He who loves the most regrets the most." 8.5/10 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6710474/?ref_=ttfc_fc_tt
I have been watching those UFO series... I'm currently on the initial stage of understanding what is that about because I needed to pay someone to take my online class first. Banned by @SlyPokerDog!
Science Friction How media gets science wrong, sometimes by ignorance, other times deliberately to promote anti science agenda (Dr. Oz a prime offender).
