    I don't know about you folks but I'm not setting public policies based on anybody's mythological allegiances. If you think during the year zero govts were giving up slaves and championing human rights, you got a bad history book. Anyone who guides their ethics from the Roman Empire is fooling themselves I'd say

    I wouldn't trust Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos to have my best interests at heart; I definitely don't trust that any of the founding fathers did either.
    The populace was never considered in the founding of this government.

    First of all, I apologize for my off-humor remarks to you. There's a lot of jabbing that goes on in here (always has), but my remark was disrespectful, and I aplogize for that.

    Secondly, the basis for my comments regarding Jesus, the Jews, the Romans, the disciples, et al, come from the Bible. As you are an atheist, I highly doubt anything coming from the Bible holds any value or merit with you. Not much more to say.
