Very disappointed I don't have more votes. I've been called an algorithm of negativity. http://www.sportstwo.com/threads/blazers-trade-the-7-pick-for.376675/page-4#post-5363232 I'm also not "rational" http://www.sportstwo.com/posts/5357340/ I thought with how terrible this Blazer roster is both immediately and in the future, with how I spread the word of our idiot GM trading 4 starters for Didi a backup and a mediocre pick, how we have no way to replace that talent, and how hopeless our roster is since its ranked among the worst in the western conference by ESPN I'd get more recognition. I certainly won't see my favorite team win anything soon. If I'd done well in this pole at least I could have a real chance at winning something.
Yeah I don't want to watch games with a bunch of scrubs when the organization isn't even trying to win; and especially not even tanking, rebuilding, or constructing a roster well. Just complete utter failure. Instead I come here and bitch about how stupid this franchise is. Maybe I should just walk away from the team completely, following the team doesn't seem to really provide any enjoyment in my life. I can follow again when we have competent owners and management making good decisions. If some righteous fans want to say I'm fair weather or whatever go say it, I could care less. I don't need to win a Blazers biggest fan award pissing match. I've been following this damn team passionately since 2nd grade in the 80's. Probably following it an absurdly unhealthy amount every decade if not every year.
choices ..they're important. You'retoo young to become a grumpy old dude yet...find some joy out there! There are two kinds of old folks...those who are happy and those who've practiced being unhappy...it's you're movie..you're the director producer and actor....make a good movie!
agree...I actually think they should come up with some sort of penalty for tanking. It's gotten ridiculous.
Totally Agreed. The should do something to reduce or eliminate the benefits of a team losing. Idea #1 Change the lottery so all teams that haven't won a playoff series the last 5 years get the best odds. So being the worst team in the league or one and out playoff teams all have equal lottery/draft pick odds. No benefits to having tons of losses.Teams that won a title in the last 10 years all pick below above teams. Teams that won playoff series are slotted between these two groups based on series wins and weighted by conference finals/semis/1st round. That still would get the best draft picks going to the teams that haven't won titles or many playoff series, so those fans have something to cheer for. But it doesn't provide this huge benefit to teams that lose. Idea #2 There have been other proposals such as "The Wheel" where the draft order is rotated among the 30 teams. So each team picks in all 30 spots once over the next 30 years. Idea #3 A third type of idea I like is giving teams that haven't won extra salary cap space or exemptions. Teams that recently won a title get none. Teams that haven't been to the playoffs the last decade get the most additional salary room.
I want the lottery to be like "Deal or No Deal". Team rep with the worst record gets to choose between the top 5 briefcases. Then after they pick, add #6, mix them up, and let second worst record choose. Keep going like until all 14 have a briefcase, and then have them all line up and open them in sequence. It would be great TV.

Hello, I voted for that Sly dog guy that wanders around here peeing on everyone. Am i doing this right?
1. you started the poll and listed yourself as option #1. 2. everyone was going to put sly because most here want to fan and everyone here wants to give sly shit. 3. Mediocre man was going to win because, well, he’s mediocre at best and is a realist and downer, intelligent as he is, and has been with us longer than any of us care to acknowledge. 4. Going back to #1, nobody likes an attention whore.
