I'll give the Fish a C thats apretty good decent first half of a season. considering we had 1 win at this point last year. They have been playing competitvely, and there were a few games which they should have won.
DMy Jets have been awful, but I wouldnt give it an F due to the amount of injuries we have had. But there is still no excuse for 20ish fumbles in 7 games and Penalties and stupid mistakes.

QUOTE (Ven0m @ Oct 31 2005, 01:13 PM)

D
or an E; failure with effort I give the 'skins a B minus, reason for the minuses is because they didn't come through with wins in some of the games that they should have, especially vs. Denver and KC. However, they have turned the lalsy program they had last year around, but haven't fully got all their stuff down. Their almost last rated offense has become one of the top offenses and their defense has stayed pretty strong. I think they can make it to the playoffs--I am impressed by them despite the shutout yesterday.
Same here, I give the Steelers B minus. We shoulda won against Patroits(Randel El shouldn't have pitched it to Ward which was bullshit) & Jaguars (If Maddox wouldn't fumble that ball) Big Ben is having a better year than he did last year. He is making so many good decisions and know what he is doing and he have corrected his mistakes from last year. Defense could play better IMO. We need to make some more plays on defense. Hopefully Steelers go on the rest of the year and win the AFC North Division.
I give the Ravens a D. In the offseason the team looked great on paper, but they haven't showed it so far. Our defense is stacked and we're not even forcing alot of turnovers. So yeah I give us a D...
I would have to give my Panthers a B+, they've lived up to their hype, and they're 5-2. Pretty good 1 game before halfway.

They have the worst coaching staff in the NFL with Tice, Cottrell, ect. and dont have their biggest target on offense in Moss among other players. If I wanted to be cruel I could dig up the thread where I called Burleson the most overrated player in Football and every Vikes fan disagreed with me, but ill be nice.
How is Burleson overrated, the guy is just experiencing right now and is still really young. He's not even mentioned among big recievers and you call him overrated? Wow..

Wow..
Do I need to go back a bump the thread where it was "The Vikings will be better without Moss" "Burleson will have a 1,200 yard season" "We will win the NFC" ect. Im not talking on a leaguewide basis, but by Vikings fans this kid was so overrated it wasnt even funny. But Lets keep this topic on target. The Jets are a D right now until Herm realizes that we are done and puts some of the youth in there to play (Cedric Houston, Brooks Bollinger, Jerricho Cotchery, Justin Miller, ect)
I'll be biased and give my Seahawks an A-. Our guys have been putting it down so far this season, and this is without Grant Wistrom's sacks that were so anticipated at the start of the year. Also, we've been without Darrell Jackson and Bobby Engram for most of the year.
I give the Raiders a C.We've won more games than I thought we would at this point. Our offense has been been decent and for the most part consistent. Kerry Collins has been playing smart ball this year. LaMont Jordan is starting to come into his own as a starter. Our defense is still terrible. We're not getting a lot of pressure on the QB. Our secondary is depleted without C-Wood and Derrick Gibson being hurt. Our rookie cornerbacks are getting too much playing time, lol. We're giving up 220 yds/game passing. Also, we haven't been able to stop the run again this year, which is killing us. We're giving up 115 yds/game on the ground, which isn't the worst in the league, but not very good at the same time. The offense gets a B from me and the defense a D. Although I expected the defense to be terrible again. The offense has been a little better due to the play of Collins.
FalconsB+, Even tho we lost to Pats and Seahawks they were both close games and the Pats game was a fg winner and without Mike Vick.CowboysB, they have played well they have not been very consistent just need to get J. Jones back.ColtsA+, Beating the Patriots in MNF @ Foxborough is remarkable. Even thou they have a easy sched. they are still the best team in the NFL.
Broncos: B+Good seaosn, but losing to Miami, and a heartbreaker to New York.We could be un defeated right now, should be.
Vikings D+ We've strugled through hardships pretty well. But that doesn't make us good.Derek do you realize that Burleson has been out most of the season?
