Warriors were better in the 4th quarter than I thought they'd be. They scored 16 points. I expected better out of Boston's defense.

To keep our core together? We didn't do that. We shipped out Stotts and CJ. We did the opposite of Boston.

boston is great on both ends of the floor, but the question is, can they keep shooting like this throughout the series

they went to game 7 with both milwaukee & miami, i expect them to lose a game or two at home court

Boston's core was young, athletic wings. Ours was.....NOT.

GS was undefeated at home in the plafoffs....until last night. It was a good example of how you beat a good team on the road. You stay close and hope to hell you get hot from 3 in the 4th. The Warriors looked stunned.

The good news for them is Boston will not shoot 51% again for the game from deep. The bad news is Tatum will not go 3-17 again. (1-5 from deep)

GSW was all over Tatum--but there's a reason he had 13 assists.

Also a reason for the 51% shooting from 3. They succeeded in shutting Tatum down as a scorer, but that left open shooters and passing lanes.

A lot of those 3’s that they made were contested. Some were open. But Derrick White who’s like a 20% 3 pt shooter heaving up daggers at the end of the shot block and Marcus smart from deep is something the Warriors will have to live with.

I predicted Boston will win this series. They have defenders all along the perimeter. It’s going to take a freak show type series from Curry if they want to win this imo

Exactly. Interestingly, the Warriors let Luka be Luka and contained the rest of their team, and it worked fine. I wonder if they consider the same tactic with Tatum going into game 2.

The difference is Dallas only had Luka. Boston has Jaylen Brown as well.

Dallas had Brunson and Dinwiddie, who also scored plenty.

And honestly, that's the point. They can't focus on Tatum and be successful because Boston has Brown and Smart and Horford. But they can contain those guys if they play the C's straight up and simply accept that Tatum is going to win his matchup.

The Finals from the Golden State side is about Klay Thompson. Poole can get red hot and not defend. Wiggins needs to play big. Looney can work hard. Curry will be Curry. Draymond, too.

In one of his more recent games, Klay looked like Klay on O. His old D motor isn’t there, but he looks better than earlier in the season. We’ll see next year. Klay needs to step up. One superstar hasn’t beaten the Celtics, yet.

That is exactly what i expect. Warriors will make Tatum beat them.
