    I've seen this comparison thrown around a lot for Ben's upside. I see it offensively. I think Jason had more game inside the arc, but Ben has the shooting edge at same stage.

    Jason was the better defender in college imo though. Similar tools but I think Jason was both smarter and had better instincts from the games I've been able to find on youtube. Stats show it too. Better stl and blk rates, better defensive rebounder.

    I don't think Ben busts but he just feels like the classic player that goes high based on the shooting + athleticism combination, but doesn't have the feel level / dribble, pass or defend well enough to return more than late lottery value. We'll see though.

    Yeah I feel there’s a good chance that Mathurin turn into McLemore. Those type of guards either turn into a Beal/Ray Allen type or flat out bust

    Agreed. Decent prospect, but should really be closer to a #15 pick instead of top 10

    I go back and forth on Matherin. Sometimes I watch and think he looks like a future star. Sometimes I watch and see KCP. I'm lost on this guy.

    DeMar has been a mid range killer all his life and carried that into the league and D wade was just on another level with the ball and defensively at Marquette.

    would be amazing if it was someone like Paolo indicating interest to move up. However, it would probably too transparent to other teams.

    You don’t spend top 10 picks on raw bigs.

    Not because raw bigs aren’t good to have, they are.

    But because you can get them later.

    Mitchell Robinson
    Daniel Gafford
    Jarrett Allen
    Robert Williams

    all taken in the later first round or second round. Where they should be.

    unless you are highly skilled a la Jaren Jackson (eg shooting, playmaking, etc), you use the top 10 pick on a wing.
