I have a story to tell related to cars. Tuesday, May 31, I was driving home on I-295 North when the rear right tire fuckin blew out. I felt the car shutter and I realized I'm going to pull over at 75 MPH while in the center lane. If the front tire blew, I probably would be scrapping asphalt and puking all over my shirt. I looked out the rear window, saw a dark stream of rubber odor smoke and somehow managed to stop the car on the tire debris. A State trooper pulled up behind me as I was changing the tire. I'm ridiculous. I should have used my car service plan but decided to change it on my own. He was cool. Very young and affable. He said he would make sure I get into the traffic when I left. I went to a Mavis Tire Discount store and found out their brand was $200 while the name brand was way more. I had to get it done. My 2012 Honda Accord is tough! It survived a deer hit in the front grill, a snow drift ice dent and two stupid girls ramming me in the turn lane with the front tire blowing out and being forced to guide my Honda into the parking lot of the only porno store in my Twp. I did open the door to look and find out the address number. I called my wife and told her I was hit by two girls and knocked into a porno store lot. She, at first, thought it was one of my jokes. The car was not totaled. Behold, the gas tank feed tube to the engine was knawed by a rat and I inherited that crap too.

SO, if you want a car that can take it, choose a 2012 Honda Accord.>>>>>>>>>>>>> IMG_2747.JPG <<<< 5/15/18 Actual damage from the clueless girl.

Yup, looks like it. Got it home and put a drip pan under it over night and it completely stopped. Luckily I have my mechanic replacing my starter this weekend already, so he can take a look at it.

These days I wouldn't doubt it, but no. It hasn't leaked anywhere near that first picture since about 7 last night.

Do you guys use any wheel locks to help prevent wheel/tire theft?

    What about Dash Cams?

    I ordered this:

Gonna hardwire it and have it installed by a pro to hide the wires

Hide a tracking device. Car gets stolen, go to location, hack and slash, profit.

You should, the amount of new cars being stolen in Portland is shocking.

The only time I ever used them was when I bought an old Subaru that had them. Didn't know it until I got a flat and didn't have the lug key. That was a giant pain in the ass.

I was at the Toyota Dealership getting my license plate put in (I had stripped the screws). Their electric car was there, they had you do a credit check in order to test drive. They only had one in stock and it had a $10k markup. Range was only 240 miles or so though.

I'm not a handyman kinda guy, more of a computer guy.

I heard the vanity plates are backed up a year+. I kind of want YG2MYFT, but the plate I got is pretty good: #BFE### (#s are of course the numbers). I like the Butt Fuck Egypt component of my plate hah

I've already had a couple people offer to buy my new (to me) car. I have been working on cleaning it up and getting it in top driving shape. Rear differential, starter, blower motor, front brakes all replaced. Rear shocks are next along with some other cosmetic details.

All that considered, with gas prices, I'd probably sell it if I could make enough money to be break even on a GD moped.
