jesus. did I really need the green font? there were like 6+ posts in this thread yesterday saying this exact same thing.
Hearing thru the grapevine we have at least one decent offer on the table but it depends on the availability of a certain player at #7.
My buddy didn’t tell me, but he’s also pretty low level. Just said it was a decent offer and it WASNT Dort or NYC packages that have been reported. He’s a good friend of mine so I trust his judgement on what a “good offer” is. Sounds like it’s from a team that hasn’t been mentioned yet. Maybe I’ll press him a bit later on for at least the team.
I really hope it's not settling for a Grant type player, or Collins. Not that I think the #7 should net them a superstar, but those two aren't the answer.
well, I can wish that it's #7 + Milwaukee pick to Detroit for Grant + #5. And that Portland/Detroit agree on who they'd take at 5 but Detroit is fine with taking a certain player at 7, if he's still there yeah, it's probably an impossible dream but I sure like the idea of Portland moving up in the draft a lot more than the idea of them moving back or out of the draft
I think it would take more than that to get that offer from Detroit. The Blazers would have to include something like Little or Hart to sweeten the pot. Grant and #5 for 7, Hart, pick in 25 + a 2nd rounder isn't horrible. No idea if it even works though.
But isn't the only way to get OG to throw in Hart or Little? I'd prefer OG to Collins and 16. I like Collins but he's not a good perimeter defender. 16 with change can probably net you Grant who I do like and is a good fit.
OG's contract can be absorbed into our TPE so all that would need to go out is #7. I don't really like that idea either, tbh. I can get behind the Collins idea only if he comes with 16.
