For Mathurin I'm somewhere in the gray area between the two expressed opinions of role player and the next MJ

I'd love it if we could get Kamagate at #36.
Dominick Barlow would be interesting at #57.

I'm gonna make a bit more about this Sharpe Pacers workout than I probably should.

    1. Sharpe works out with Portland (#7) on Wednesday.
    2. Sharpe cancels the workout he had previously scheduled with NOP (#8) on Friday.
    3. Sharpe attends his workout with Indy (#6) that he had previously schedule today.

Is it possible that we told him if we have 7 and he's available, we'll draft him?

When did he attend his workout in Indy?

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing, if for nothing else, he would make for a great trade chip because of his potential.

I think Sharpe makes sense with the current plan. You draft him, see if the Dame/Ant pairing works, and if it totally sucks you trade one or the other and develop Sharpe. I think Ant/Sharpe could work, or if you want to go all-in on Dame, you trade Ant and start Hart while you develop Sharpe. Seems like a solid plan either way.

To me, Sharpe makes more sense for Atlanta than the previously mentioned Daniels.
I think Atl prefers the ball in Trae's hands, surrounded by shooters, vs matched with a taller guard who can create for others but can't shoot as of yet.

Daniels is someone that I could see working out long term here. Not really a trade chip. Sharpe is the trade chip, but could also work out long term if we decide to move on from Dame or Ant.

I wouldn't want to be the team that drafted and traded Anthony Edwards with a jump shot for good role players. If we draft him, I hope we don't trade him.

You can go into the season and his value would be incredibly high should a star want out of their current situation.

Not to mention that Sharpe's ceiling is infinitely higher than Daniels.

Besson, sort of tall PG but very short wingspan, Tankathon has 28 minus points vs. 4 positive. Not sure why we are bothering. Branham does not seem to be a good defender. Tankathon seems to like Tevin Brown but he is a SG who is almost 24.

Moore is a 6th year senior who despite having a lot of energy, still can't shoot.
I guess for all four of these guys, not sure why we bring them in. In fact a lot of the guys we have brought in will not be drafted.

Kamagate I can understand, 21 and he is 6'11" and he can shoot the ball. Blocks 2 shots per 36 but not considered a great defender.

Barlow seems the best of the bunch. 19, good length, his stats in a lot of areas seem pretty good. he is projected to go in the 50's

    Yes.
But what about Keegan Murray? It's possible both Murray and Sharpe could fall to #7. Schmitz loves Murray. It would be odd to pass on him if he's available.

Knowing the Kings, they'll probably draft him and he'll be super mediocre for his career. (Murray)

I feel I know enough about Kamagate to disagree with most of this here. I don’t think he’s a good shooter, at least not when I watched him (shooting can improve pretty quickly so who knows) but he projects very well defensively. Good agility, can switch in space. Just needs more experience. Also sets a good screen and I think his passing is underrated.

Good catch. I wonder if he's the target of a trade up/trade down. We told him he'll be gone at 7, but it's a team targeting to trade up for him. If he's there, a trade happens. If not, potentially it does not.

Depends if they’re drafting for themselves or for some other team.

Like Kobe Bryant. Do the Blazers get Vlade Divac in return?

Some of these questions are idiotic.

This guy seriously asked him... "can you compete?"
