Then I guess I must be interested in guns, since gun owners talk about guns to me. Anyway, I'm not buying what you are selling here. Seems very clear there's more reason for a dope smoker to lie about it than a gun owner. barfo
Even more so there are a bunch of gun owners that legally should not be gun owners and there are even more guns that aren’t even registered to a gun owner.
One Uvalde cop said he had a chance to shoot the killer but was afraid he might accidentally hit children as well. So a trained police officer was unable to get a good shot but teachers are expected to do so.
Report coming out that the Ulvalde police had the personnel and equipment inside the school to stop the shooter within 3 mins after the shooter had entered the school.
Disagree. The proposals to arm teachers assume they can use those guns to stop or prevent school shooting. What other purpose is there?
The proposals I have seen are to allow them to arm themselves if they choose. So that, for example, if they are hiding in a corner of their classroom with their students they have a last line of defense before a killer kills them and all of the students. That's it.
More dishonesty... The thing that sells the most guns and ammo are the pushes for gun control. Gun manufacturers are making a killing right now. They can't keep guns on the shelves, and the prices are outrageous.
Yes it is. Allowing somebody to do something without fear of punishment is far different than expecting them to to something. Police are expected to do something. Teachers should be allowed to defend themselves if they choose. That's a huge difference.
The minute a teacher kills a kid some people might actually start thinking again. I'm not just talking about an accident either though that certainly seems to be the most likely outcome. How about a kid taking the gun and killing another kid/teacher/janitor/coach? No. What she said was not "lazy" or "dishonest" at all. Sorry.
No it's not It's still expecting teachers to do something they shouldn't be required to do, asked to do, or even suggested to do.
No it's not expecting anything. You are claiming it is something that it is not. There is no expectation that any teacher would do anything they do not want to do.
The solution is not to allow more death tools into schools, it is to ensure there is less access to people with death tools being able to get them into these areas - and that can be done by limiting access to death tools for anyone and everyone (better background checks and regulations) and prevention.
