PHILADELPHIA -- Terrell Owens will not play for the Philadelphia Eagles again this season.Coach Andy Reid announced Monday that Owens had been suspended by the team for four games for conduct detrimental to the team, the maximum games allowed by league rules, and would not return to the team for the remainder of the season. The four-game suspension includes Sunday night's loss to the Redskins.Owens has informed the Eagles, according to Reid, that the players' union has said it will be filing a grievance on his behalf for this action.Reid said in his weekly press conference that despite this week's incidents, T.O. was given every opportunity to avoid being suspended but failed to make use of them.Reid declined to comment on the details that led to Owens' suspension.

This doesn't mean he wont play for the season, kyleorton, but it says he wont play for 4 games. Now it is possible for him to miss more than that but I think he will apologize (which is what he has to do) just like he let his contract dispute go so he could play in training camp.

Doubt he'll play until next year. Eagles are tired of his S***. He got exactly what he deserved. Hopefully he'll be wearing a new uniforms next season but what team will it be? Won't be Falcons because they already told TO no..

wow This is really heat breaking such a great althlete just ruining his future in the nfl TO is one of the top 5 recievers in the nfl right now. I cant believe he wouild even be so stupid to do this. TO, you need to relax and just enjoy the game.TO said he would rather have Brett Favre as his QB than McNabb . WTF . who says that. Mcnabb is a great QB and a future hall of famer. I hope he learnes and in the future keeps his mouth shut.

Another team will take him, just wont get as much money now.Kind've Ironic, he wants to get paid but his own actions will end up costing him money.

You guys do know you're talking to TO personally like he's reading this lol.Anyway...TO did deserve some acknowledgement for his 100th TD catch. He's one of 5 (correct me if I'm wrong) in NFL history to do this and the Eagles blew it off like it was nothing. I think he was right about that, but nothing else. And yes, he is gone for the season.

The Eagles can deactivate him after the suspension to prevent him from playing anywhere for the rest of the season. I'd like to see him in Oakland w/ Randy Moss. Man that would be the most dangerous reciving tandom ever.

T.O. had it coming all season, I'm glad he got the ole slap in the face.

Stop the game so he could give an Oscar speech?Once again, it's all about TERRELL.</span>

The Cowboys didn't even celebrate Emmitt Smith getting the all-time rushing record. All they did was stop the game for a few mintues to acknowlegde the crowd.
