NEW YORK (AP) - The NFL Players Association wants the Philadelphia Eagles to cut Terrell Owens if they're not going to reinstate him after his four-game suspension is over."We're not asking them to play him, we can't force them to do that," Gene Upshaw, the NFLPA's executive director, said Wednesday. "But if they're not going to let him come back to practice and do all the other things associated with that, then we want them to cut him, let him become a free agent now."The union already has appealed the four-game suspension levied on the wide receiver by the Eagles for what coach Andy Reid called "a large number of situations that accumulated over a long period of time."The appeal will be heard before arbitrator Richard Bloch on Nov. 19.But Upshaw said that even if the suspension is upheld, the Eagles can't just tell Owens to stay away from the team and its practice facility."We are taking the position that's additional punishment," Upshaw told The Associated Press. "It's not fair to a player not to have an additional chance."Upshaw differentiated between the Eagles' suspension of Owens and Tampa Bay's decision two years ago to make Keyshawn Johnson inactive for the final six games of the season. Johnson signed in 2004 with Dallas, for whom he now plays."There was no suspension there. A team has the right to inactivate a player for whatever reason it wants," he said. "But in T.O.'s case, this is a team suspension, not a commissioner's deal. They're different. When we bargained in those rules, there was a reason for it. The most a player can be suspended is four games. You can't go beyond that."http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5068214

They wont because if he goes to a contending team in the NFC *cough*Falcons*cough* than the Eagles will be fucked and they know it. He WINS GAMES, and that's why the Eagles wont win the NFC East. They got rid of their best player in the most important part of the season.

He won't end up in Atlanta. Jim Mora, Jr has already stated he doesn't want someone like T.O. on his team. They will wait until the offseason and release him. This will be interesting how everything turns out though.

I think TO WILL go to Atlanta, I overheard some stuff about Vick saying he might want to play with TO. TO loves the pressure and with him being a #1 calibre reciever to come to Atlanta and actually catch those lasers from Vick..

Ya Mora said no, but T.O. does reside in Atlanta and if you think about it T.O. would help Vick complete more passes every game cuz he isnt one to drop passes and he usually can find ways of making bad passes into big plays. But forget all that cuz the Eagles aren't gonna cut him

The teams that get dibs on Owens are the teams with the worse records, which would be Houston and Green Bay. The Packers have already said they would take T.O. and Al Harris would pick him up at the airport and drive him around. T.O. also said he would like to catch passes from the one and only Brett Favre. I dont see him going to Houston though, and ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT ATLANTA!! What are you guys thinking!?!?!?!?

Thats only if he gets cut this season. Which wont happen. He gets cut after the season and he becomes a free agent IMO.

Of cousre the players union wants to cut him, of course TO wants to go to another team. But Atlanta seems farfetched, considering Vick can't throw the ball, and even if he could, the Falcons throw the ball less that 20 times a game. TO wouldn't get as many receptions, and his stats would go down

He has family in Atlanta.

I'd actually like to see him go to Oakland. Him and Randy Moss. Man, wouldn't that be great. That would be totally sick.
