Exactly.... so I don't see why Hart would be any better at small forward than Sharpe.

One thing about Hart is that he's a fantastic rebounder. He even played power forward sometimes with the Pelicans.
But overall, there's no reason if Hart can play SF that Sharpe can't.

    Some measurements:

Sharpe: 6'4.25 without shoes, 8'7.5 standing reach, 6'11.5 wingspan.

Winslow: 6'4.5 without shoes, 8'8.5 standing reach, 6'10.25 wingspan
Brown: 6'5.25 without shoes, 8'6.5 standing reach, 6'11.75 wingspan
Iguodala: 6'5.75 without shoes, 8'9.5 standing reach, 6'11 wingspan
Nassir: 6'4.5 without shoes, 8'8.5 standing reach, 7'1.25 wingspan
Miles Bridges: 6'5.25 without shoes, 8'7.5 standing reach, 6'9.5 wingspan
Hart: 6'3.75 without shoes, 8'5 standing reach, 6'8.25 wingspan
Brooks: 6'5 without shoes, 8'4.5 standing reach, 6'6 wingspan
Crowder: 6'4.75 without shoes, 8'3.5 standing reach, 6'9.25 wingspan

Sharpe can play SF. Just needs to put on weight and get stronger.

He's giving up like 20+ pounds to all those guys. Reshaping his body is going to be a big thing but it's not happening this year.

ya i mentioned the need for him to gain weight, but that will come. Put him in the NBA incubator with training and nutrition. He certainly seems to have the frame for putting on weight. He profiles exactly like young MJ right now at 200 lbs. Or even a slightly slimmer BRoy.

    A bonafide what?
Does that mean you have sources? Or just really want to have sources? Just a really avid fan?

I’m a bonafide fan I assume but my tweeter does not have a blue checkmark. Can I pay to get one?

The dude has brooooad shoulders. There's a lot of room for muscle on that frame.

Good grief. Imagining Sharpe getting experience, gaining weight and strength playing with Simons and Lillard. That could be crazy.

This is what I'm seeing too -- it's somewhat moot because positions are more or less meaningless anymore, but I'm considering his longer term fit to be our 3 next to those two...

My favorite Andre Miller play is still easily this one:

I don’t want to put too much expectations on him, but profile-wise, he’s the closest comparison to Kobe that I’ve seen. We’d be lucky to have any guy be able to score like that and consistently make All Defense though. I always seem to forget Kobe is 10+x All Defense.

One thing I do like is that his shot already looks NBA ready like Ant was when we drafted him. It took Ant almost three full seasons to put it all together, but that was also during a pandemic. Sharpe’s ability to shoot will get him playing time right away if it translates. Then at the very least, he’ll have a McLemore kind of role right away.

I would guess that if he’s pretty reserved like he’s shown in his interviews, he’s also pretty lowkey. Hopefully that means he’ll spend a lot more time in the lab.

The future is bright for him.

Even if we got Randle for scraps and kept Ant I still don't like his fit. Plus as you said: Grant > Randle.

Hahaha. It's all good. This should be a safe space for differing takes.
