<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>SAN FRANCISCO - A pack of Giants fans had gathered near the visitors' tunnel at Monster Park last week when Eli Manning, New York's quarterback of the future who is coming of age in the present, began slowly walking off the field. The faithful roared its approval and clamored for some sort of souvenir by which to savor Manning's first road victory, a 24-6 decision over the host San Francisco 49ers.Manning reached down for the small towel he had used to dry his hands on this damp day. He balled it up, cocked his multi-million dollar right arm and fired. The towel opened up, fluttered a few feet and fell to the ground, far short of its target. Eli flashed that sheepish grin of his and shrugged his shoulders.Hey, the kid's only 24. There will be many more victory walks as the unflappable one that friends call "Easy E" follows in the footsteps of his famous father, Archie, and rock-star famous older brother, Peyton."Eli isn't on Peyton's level yet," Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield said. "But he has some weapons now, like Peyton has. And he's gaining confidence, which is something Peyton has a lot of."Eli Manning will make the 16th start of his young career today, when the Giants play host to the Vikings in East Rutherford, N.J., for the first time since winning the NFC Championship Game 41-0 in January 2001. Only five active players from each team are left from that game. Manning was a teenager at Ole Miss.</div>LinkThis will be a hard game. Giants could go to the super bowl I think with the year Eli is having. But if we get a big game out of basicly everybody it might work. Keep the short passes and runnning game up. It works.Go Vikings! But realizticly New york will win. 24-20?

30-13Sorry man, but the Giants are just the much better team right now. Your defense will not be able to contain the Giants offense, and the Giants defense is also much improved as of late.

Theyve been much better as of late.

Well, 2nd turnover for the Giants in the 1st quarter, 1st one in a kickoff fumble Willie Ponder and then an INT by Eli after Sharper deflected a pass from Plaxico and intercepted it.

Well, the Giants are losing 14-6, but their Defense hasnt allowed that touchdown yet. [IMG] Nice job playing a complete game by the Vikings....im suprised Eli and the Giants offense hasnt done better though, it might be a tough loss if they do pick it up in the second half.
