I realize late term abortions are rare, and I understand sometimes they are necessary for health/emergency reasons, as they should be. I’m not disagreeing with any of those points. I’m just saying to deny that a 7 or 8th month old unborn human is not a baby is a crazy. My daughter was born over a month premature with eyes wide open, breathing on her own and was in the car on the way home the very next day. That’s a person in there no matter how inconvenient their existence may be. I guess the question is when does the clump of cells become a baby? It’s NOT “when it comes out” sorry. There’s needs to be a scientifically designated point during pregnancy where a fetus is deemed a viable human and abortion after that point should be well justified. And no, I don’t think many of these hardcore red states are going about this correctly, for the record, just causing division.
