    I actually like this deal. It gives the White Sox a much needed big left handed bat in the middle of the lineup. I am going to miss Rowands defense though.

    Good I'm glad. Howard is 10 times better and 10 times younger, we needed to get that guy outta here, I donno about them coughing up all that $$$ with the trade but whatever, I mean the guy was on the WS winners team, he will be good for us.

    Yeah, Jim Thome is washed up now, I dont know why any team in their right mind would take a chance on them, but with the Phillies paying 26 million of his salary I guess they can take a chance on him for only like 5 million a year or so, but still.

    Thome is a washed up player like Venom said. The Phillies got a pretty good player in Rowand and now Howard can be a starter. Good move by the Phillies.
