They are your kids. If you want them conditioned to believe any story people tell them based on faith have at it. As a society we should strive to teach our children to avoid cultist stories in favor of logic and reason.

Meh is the kind of thing people say when they have nothing intelligent to say. I mean, I don't know jack shit about evolution by natural selection but I know it's wrong and children shouldn't learn it. Like they shouldn't learn gay people exist. Or anything that makes white people uncomfortable.
What exactly does DeathSantis plan to do with the data collected on political leanings of students and teachers? Will students be expelled or teachers fired? Should there be an affirmative action program for conservatives? What if a student is admitted under this affirmative action and changes their views? Do they get expelled? Politics aren't a monolith. Many techies support legal abortion, marriage equality, teaching science and history, but also want tax cuts for the rich and oppose labor unions. Where do they fall in DeathSantis dichotomy? Police have power of life and death and trend conservative. Should police be quizzed about their political views? Should there be affirmative action to recruit more liberal cops? His biggest supporter never answers questions, just says meh or throws up bible quote or sexist insult.
You know, asking for the political leanings of people (as a requirement for anything) is basically the same as asking to see someones papers. Fuck that and the brown shirts they're wearing.
They all pleaded (except for Charlie) that after finding Jesus, they weren't the same anymore as the people who stabbed a pregnant woman and her unborn child to death....I'd think you'd remember that late term abortion that has had about 6 movies made over it and was the largest crime in your youth in the media....but hey....reality is, there's no such thing as being "born again"...in the adult world we just call that growing up. Denial is a bitch. If you think your unborn children were lives before being aborted then you owe back child support for 3 of the little ones and probably some compensation for the women who were traumatized over it. Even the AA has a 12 step program that requires making amends for your past.....that's the key to spiritual health.
OK? All the abortions were during my late-teens(1) and 20's(2). My conversion to Jesus was when I was 32.
I don't care how old you were.....your religious conversion didn't change their history or situation but by saying this you're making it again about you and your youth, etc.....it's not about you...it's about your actions and response to those actions. As I said...it's growing up....if that took until you were 32...well you're a late bloomer. The Manson killers were teens as well. Also converted to Jesus as older adults..that's not a "get out of trouble free pass"
