Observation. Nate, Eric and Torey all saw your comments as insulting. And I agree with them. Of the people who have commented, 100% see what you said as insulting. Until another respondent comments, the available evidence is what it is.
No one can take advice from anyone, and we are all the smartest people in the world. There.....problem solved.
oh....you have a shallow view of what "everyone" means ......I'll say again...I never insulted Eric or Torey....Nate I took issue with and he made this about me....not my unwelcome encouragement...it was framed by him as an insulting thing to encourage Eric to get interviews on his show.....you don't like that? Too bad for you but I'll leave you to your own insult here...next time maybe just "like" their posts
I don’t find you insulting. You’re one of my favorite posters, even though you’re a huge homer. You need thick skin in the media biz.
You don't have to "insult" someone to make comments that are condescending or insulting. It's unfortunate that you fail to see how that occurred in this instance.
I’m shocked…. How many of my posts did you report this time around? I never meant to hurt your feelings.
If you want people to pile on, I did find the whole thing tacky. You may have started out well meaning but the second there was any push back it became about you. Your disrespectful comments to @Natebishop3 were filled with assumptions about his life that you could have no clue about. Pretty much you shit the bed on this one and should stop while you're behind. Again, not saying that your original comments weren't well intended but just poorly worded and conceived; moreso after they were poorly received you made yourself look prideful despite the fact that the success you've enjoyed seems to be in a completely different field and petty when you went after a poster who has success in the very arena you were venturing to give advice about.
Genuine feedback shouldn't be viewed necessarily as negative, but as a way to evaluate & improve performance. We all have room for that!
Telling someone who has been working hard for years trying to build a brand in sports journalism that they should consider getting a credential is not genuine feedback. It's like telling someone with a couple hundred thousand in students loans that they should consider buying a house.
