So long as the MRI is clear the #7 player should play Saturday and work his butt off. It’s about getting out there. Again and again to and develop his skills and abilities and being part of a team. This a (nearly) perfect situation for Sharpe: a coach who was a leader as a player who took awhile to get good; a grinding, elite leader who brings guys together in Dame; and a young fella out of prep school who has taken steps in his body, skills … has gone about it quietly — Simons.

This is a pretty solid draft class.

As a possible 2-way, I kind of liked Amar Sylla.
He could contain guards on the perimeter.

The problem with saying if it’s good he’ll play, is that if he doesn’t play we’ll know it’s a big deal

bought an auto’d dame card on eBay a year after the draft. Kinda steep at $60, and was kinda pissed. Exact card and cert going
$800 right now. Nice appreciation. But not Dame level appreciation!

Unless they're all bad. Right now, they're basically playing against each other. Solid is relative.

First couple of summer league games look promising, though.

I know, but they are playing against each other on teams full of NBA hopefuls, so it’s at least a step up as far as college goes on a day to day basis. Now playing against the best from their class each day, and the best of last years class in some cases.

This class will be looked back on as a quality draft with a few good players and some good role players.

    Book it
