https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2022/07/08/missing-man-fell-plastic-shredder/10014546002/ South Carolina man missing for 2 months was found to have fallen into an industrial plastic shredder at a plant where his father was the supervisor. His family had filed a missing persons report and asked the public's help in finding his whereabouts. He was last seen working on May 5 putting plastic into a shredder. After three inspections of the shredder, the first by his father, blood was found. On a fourth inspection human fat, bone fragments, and skin cells were found. DNA tests have confirmed they belonged to the missing man Duncan Gordon.
I hate these types of stories/reports. Tragic accidents. Kind of irrelated, but related, as well, one of my good friends passed away a few years ago when he was attempting to get a get a pic of his girlfriend looking down over a waterfall. He fell over 100' to his death. This was down near Grants pass. https://jacksoncountyor.org/sheriff/News/man-dies-in-fall-from-trail-photo
This case though sounds fishy to me. The guys dad was the supervisor. He was the first to inspect the shredder after his son "fell in." He didn't find any blood or human remains. When they finally find some human remains and blood after subsequent inspectuons, it's very little. Hmm...
He will get turned into plastic products, which will be sold, consumed and left to slowly weather in the ocean. From there it will break down into micro-plastics and be consumed by microorganisms, which will blast up the food chain from fish all the way to mankind. The blood of Duncan will be in all of mankind, thus eventually birthing a new world religion focused around Duncan Gordon: Plastic Jesus.
Hello, As it has been found that almost all humans have micro plastics inside of them, I think that puts a twist in this timeline description. I mean, there is now plastic out there with human remains in it that has more microplastics inside of it then turning into more micro plastics within micro plastics sandwiching human remains? Or… something like that? We joke but this is a sad story. I can only imagine that its an excruciating death unless he went in head first. Those things typically dont eat you up instantly.
If it was obvious to whoever else investigated it then that will be evidence of foul play. Could be an accident. Industrial Plastic Shredder What a way to go, holy crap… Ever see that show “ways to die”? Because this belongs on it… If it wasn’t on it already.
