agree. If it was serious and his SL is over they would have said so by now.

You might be right, of course, and I'm expecting good news, but this is just another signal that the Trail Blazers organization isn't a well oiled machine.

Didn’t Collins hurt his shoulder in summer league? How long did that take to come out?

A lot of times your doctor's office doesn't have an MRI machine so they send you to a radiologist or radiology center. Many times a radiologist doesn't perform the MRI, an MRI tech does and your doctor still wants the radiologist to look at the MRI and make a report which usually doesn't happen or at least get released until the end of the day. Then your doctor has to schedule you for another appointment to go over the results. When this is the process a one day turnaround is actually pretty fast. When this is the process in an HMO it can take a week before you find out because of they might not give a shit about how long it takes and the doctor at that point has no control over expediting the results... especially if it's not an emergency or what the HMO deems an emergency.

When you're seeing an orthapedic surgeon who has looked at thousands of MRIs, they usually have a machine in house, have a tech do the actual scans, have them sent back to them and "finish up your appointment" while your still there. Not only is this convinient for you but it's very lucrative for the surgeon because they get to bill for two appointments, the radiology report and the MRI itself and only pay their office overhead which would include the tech's salary.

Is it though? If it's not an issue the coach already said he'll be playing. I get it that we're all obsessed but whether or not a player is playing has never been something teams wanted to have to let people know, the league just made them start doing it at some point so they had to put out injury reports, they're under no such stipulation here. So if they already said, he's feeling good and will play unless the MRI comes back bad, isn't that already telling us everything we need to know?

I know we want them to have someone telling us: When Shaedon woke up this morning he said his shoulder felt a little stiff but after showering he said it felt normal. Shaedon then came to a team meeting where the training stafff examined him and everyone thought he was feeling good. We scheduled the MRI anyway to be sure. Shaedon was driven to the radiology center in a grey sudan because he likes grey more than black. The MRI was done at Desert Radiology on Wynn Rd because it's closest to where the team is staying although we considered a couple of other radiologists in the area. Shaedon gave Desert Radiology a five star review on Google and we will use them again in the future if necessary. The MRI report came back without any structural damage and we all high fived.

But that's not what we get.

I don’t recall his shoulder coming out. Must’ve stayed in the closet.

I don't know what ladder you're talking about and how anyone would get in one unless we're talking about the bucket attached to a fire engine ladder, in which case I'm sure a millionaire basketball player could arrange getting in one but I don't know how likely that would be...

but yeah, they would be in the category of getting immediate MRI results and probably would only have to wait about five minutes after getting the scan.
