    But holy shit the actor playing Homelander just nailed that role. All the casting is great but damn, Homelander is played with perfection. The funny thing is I don't recall ever seeing that actor in anything before.

    I don't either. I think he looks a lot different without the blonde hair, contacts, and makeup.

    But, i've never seen someone play a whiny POS to such perfection.

    I read most of those books as they came out. I went with a friend of mine to a midnight bookselling of the 6th book (HBP) and as we were leaving the bookstore we yelled out, Dumbledore dies. We had no idea it actually happened in the book. Oops.
