Gosh... I know "none of the above" is a cop-out, but that would be my answer. All three have been garbage and not showed much promise at all. I voted for Didi since that's who it's going to be, and I might as well accept it
Yeah if any of those three are getting significant playing time then we're tanking the season anyways. So who do I think would help the tanking the most? Probably CJ.
This is a pretty pointless thread. If Didi's contract wasn't guaranteed he would have been gone like the other two. So I'd rather have gotten rid of Elijah and CJ than kept either one of them and without making the pointless move of waiving Didi but having his salary on the books, we were keeping Didi. So the answer is Didi because he was the only one that we couldn't get rid of without penalty.
Elleby might be my least favorite Blazer ever. I watch him play sometimes and just shake my head. He’ll be out of the league once his deal with Portland runs out. The other 2 guys are awful too though.
I think Elleby has that Jarrett Jack effect where people just remember the (not infrequent) fuckups and fumbles and overlook the things he actually can do. They're all crappy, but he may be the least crappy. Anyone saying otherwise is gambling on "potential" that I just don't see in Didi or Hughes.
I have always known that the worst player on any NBA team is better than anyone any of us will ever play against. CJ Elleby has proven me wrong. And, just think about the names mentioned in this poll. These are the guys Chauncey had to go to war with last year.
How can Elleby have proved that wrong when he isn't even the worst player on the team (as long as Dame's cousin is around). You deserve to have CJ do this to you:
Shooting is so important. If Elleby could shoot at all, he’d be coveted. (I just realized he’s actually kind of grown on me.)
Not to bring politics into this... but why does this have to feel so much like a presidential election?
