Taillon gives up early homer and yanks respond with a 3 run he by WC MASON and lead 4-1 after 1. Donaldson and hicks both continue with their shit at bats

For some reason this game was supposed to be telecast out west here, it was advertised to be shown, but nada, typical Time Warner Bros (hiding behind their ghost name Spectrum) bullshit! The problem with this years Yanx are many. It's a smoke and mirrors team. If the pitching's not on, the hitting sometimes is, sometimes it isn't. If the hitting's on, the pitching's not. if the defense is on, then give it an inning or two and it won't be.
One thing this team lacks (of several things) is: Consistency!

All rise for number 32. Yanks up 5-1. 2nd and 3rd no outs and Donaldson strikes out meekly on 3 pitches. A lot of dead and I mean dead wood in this lineup

And believe it or not WC MASON hits his 2nd 3 run homer of the game to blow this baby open at 8-1. Suck on that Boston!

And laughably hicks follows carpenter again with another pathetic strikeout. Get rid of Donaldson, hicks and Gallo and bring some kids up till you make a trade cashman

Completely agree. This team reminds me of the 1960 team that lost to the Pirates in 7 games
World Series. In that Series the Yankees won 3 blowout games and lost 4 close games.
Only 4 or 5 players contributed while 4 or 5 could not get a hit the entire series.
Donaldson, way overrated; Hicks & Gallo, over swinging out of their cleats. These 3 are horrible
and not contributing in key ABs. And they continue to show that with their DNA that
    nothing will change.

Carpenter the first Yankee outfielder was 7 RBIs versus the Red Sox since Joe DiMaggio in 1940.

Carpenter’s 13 homers set a franchise record for the most hit in a player’s first 30 games with the Yankees, surpassing a previous high of 12 shared by Kevin Maas (1990) and Glenallen Hill (2000).

The run differential between both teams and that series was mind-boggling. Yankees should have won that series hands down. I can see the comparison on a way.
