Supporting politicians and laws which do that means you are doing it. You willingly give them power to control others with your public support and your vote.
This also supports the belief that the politician is using religion to control people. IMO, the best thing for a person in this situation who doesn't want their religion to be associated would be to very publicly denounce these things as not supported by your religion and make a concise argument as to why.
So, you believe DeSantis is this big, bad boogeyman Fascist who wants to have control over everyone? At any rate, I found this piece indicating he is Catholic. OK, well, so is Biden, so there's that. https://religionunplugged.com/news/...ntis-catholicism-against-him-on-social-issues
Hitler had "a personal relationship with Christ." He was a self-proclaimed nondenominational German Christian. In his "personal relationship with Christ" he called Jesus the "Aryan Fighter" and rejected the Jewish elements in the old testament.
In ABM's defense, he does not appear to wear the same mustache as Hitler, so we have one way to tell them apart. barfo
"We tolerate no one in our ranks who attacks the ideas of Christianity ... in fact our movement is Christian." - Hitler
There’s never been a more anti-Christlike public official than Trump. It is truly amazing the party of Christian values bullshit is pro Trump. The most ass backwards group in American history
Biden is publicly supporting a woman's right to choose. Biden is publicly opposed to restricting those rights. I'm not judging anybody based on their religion.
A person whose top priority is forcing women to carry pregnancy against our will. Who supports banning books. Agrees schools should not say gay or teach anything that makes white people uncomfortable. Who wants to end marriage equality. Dictate internal policies to business. Wants to prohibit parents from taking their children to entertainment he disapproves of. If that isn't using religion to force your views onto others, what is,?
