They waited until the playoffs to hear Damian Shelton's appeal for a positive drug test of some banned substance in 2001, like 3 months after announcing it, baseball waited until August to hear Wood's suspension for getting in an umpires face in April, and then waited 2 days before his start before deciding to uphold it. They just hate Chicago teams.
