If you like outdoors shows, Joe Pickett on Paramount plus is good. I have read the books, but it is about a game warden.
We've watched about ten episodes or so of Person of Interest. Good show. Jim Caviezel is credible. Writing is decent.
I'm two episodes into the Sandman series and it's visually stunning, not sure yet after 2 episodes if it's as good as it looks but I'm giving it a try.
Just finished Severence season 1 on Apple+. The whole season was great but wow, that last episode was incredible. Felt like it was 20 minutes and it has one of the best endings to a season I've ever seen. Can't recommend it enough.
Anybody going to check this out? Does Showtime have a separate streaming service? It's starting to basically be cable again out there.
I'm waiting till they have more than just a few episodes out so we can binge it. One episode a week is just enough to start getting into it then it's over. I'm pretty excited tho and it's great to hear good reports.
I almost never watch any of the new streaming series (Mrs Maisel is probably the only exception), but I have to say that having never watched "Modern Family", it seems like it's just made for binge-style viewing. When a joke involves a call-back to a scene from several episodes back, it's a lot easier to remember the reference when you just watched it within the past 24 hours.
My wife and oldest daughter are really enjoying She Hulk. I think it is hit and miss on some episodes. If you have anyone in the family who likes animals, there is a show on Disney + called secrets of the zoo down under. Each episode they show a different animal in the zoo. Usually see behind the scene keeper life.
