Durant trade in the money picture

We have the trade dollars to make this work for Durant. Jerami Grant, Josh Hart and Sharp make up enough salary to make the trade possible on the trade machine. Now how Brooklyn would look at this is another issue. I just find it interesting we have the cash capital to make such a trade. We need a big dramatic move for this franchise.

What if Durant demanded Chauncey and Joe be fired before he's consider Portland? Still want him?

I think KD is a tremendous player just didnt like that he went about demanding his trade. Plus he took their extension worth millions for several years.

 

After signing a mega extension for several years and now demanding they fire the GM & Coach if they want him to stay, why wouldn't he be capable of more demands?

What if we traded Shaedon for Durant and then Durant sucks and Shaedon becomes like a young Durant

Idk that I’d actually want to trade Shaedon but we might have to in that deal

 

That's why they call it risk/reward. If a trade was to happen, they'd want Ant instead of Grant.

 

Ant cannot be traded until January 14, 2023 due to new contract

 

I get that, but Durant might not be traded til then anyways. He may play hardball with the Nets and sit out till then. Basketball Brinkmanship.

 

Please do not mortgage the future to try to build a contender that won't contend. It is one thing to ask fans to sit through over a decade of winning nothing with Dame. It is another thing entirely to mortgage the next half decade after that to achieve the same result.
