    K Gausman 8-9 3.16 vs. J Taillon 11-3 3.95

Yankees playing tighter than snare drums.

I take comfort that this game is not televised in New York area.

How in Hell does Gausman have a losing record? Oh yeah, these are the Yankees he’s pitching against!

Tonight is Suyzn Waldman & John Sterling bobblehead night. Would you believe they’re all sold out!
Getting more buzz than the Yankee team.

Typical taillon start. Death by a thousand knife wounds. Though the way we hit 1 or 2 is probably enough. I’ve seen enough of IKF. He can go join hicks now

Again, our only salvation is if the Yanx completely blow their 15 game lead, which leads to both Boone and Cashman to be relieved of their duties.

And here's a crazy idea, not that he would accept the position/s, but make Jeter the GM and/or Manager...who would resign Judge and make him the 14th Captain of the Yanx.

How many faux pas does Trashman have to acquire via trades before Hal Steinbrenner relieves him of his position?
It looks like until Hal dies!

If I were a pitcher, I would be salivating against this Yankee lineup! They are terrible.

I'll keep saying it. Boone and Cashman need to go. Looking at the lead going to eight games, no sign of life even after the Donaldson slam and the prospect of facing deGrom and Scherzer shortly.

Boone lost control of this team a while back.

Benitendi is hitting.186 as a Yankee. He was hitting .320 when the Yanx acquired him from KC. Another ex-Red Sox player (Ellsbury), who looked great until he came to the Bronx.

King George would have shit canned BaBoone and Trashman years ago, or more than likely never hired BaBoone to begin with.

A new GM and Mgr may or may not be capable of fixing this team. One thing is for sure, unless Hal can replace both Trashman and BaBoone with a "self-driving" GM and Mgr. The type(s) who don't need an owner for anything other than signing the checks, then Hal himself needs to sell this team to a Jeter led group.

I wonder how Billy Beane would do in NY, with a massive payroll?
If I were the owner of the Yankees interviewing GM's, the one question, the first question that would determine whether or not to hire a GM, would be do you believe BaBoone should be fired? Of course if the answer is no, then they're not worth hiring.

I seriously believe Hal is totally inept, and blind to every aspect as to how baseball should be played and managed, that he requires a self-driving GM and Mgr. Otherwise he needs to sell and he needs to do it soon. Each and every year could easily be like this one, with Hal on the throne.

I was going to mention having to face two of the best arms Monday and Tuesday, will more than likely be a dagger to the heart.

On other social media sites I read over and over again the morning after The Donaldson Grand Slam 10th inning walk off, too many people believing and saying: "this will be the game that reignites the Yankees and turns their season back around."
Those poor guys are more than likely overwhelming the suicide hotlines! 1-800-dont-doit

"Jordan Montgomery has won as many games as the Yankees since trade

Jordan Montgomery is out to prove that the Yankees made an unforgivable mistake by trading him

The New York Yankees are 3-12 after making befuddling moves at the MLB Trade Deadline on August 2. Jordan Montgomery, who was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals by the Yankees? 3-0 in that same span.

Over that time, Montgomery has a sub-1 ERA, 17 strikeouts, and three walks.

Montgomery’s trade was one of several head-scratchers at the deadline, as he was relatively strong for New York as a starter. Though his record was just 3-3, he had a respectable 3.69 ERA. Montgomery was the victim of a bit of bad luck throughout the year as the Yankee bats could never get it going on Monty nights the same way they could for other starting pitchers. Montgomery got 4.81 runs of support in his starts, the worst of all Yankee starters."

There's no doubt the Yankees can blow this division. They're not even playing competitive baseball. Boone isn't the right guy to be managing this team and Cashman has makes blunder after blunder.
