    Monty on 3 Games-16.2 IP/17 SO/12 Hits/3 BB/0 HR/ 0.54 ERA

    Monty was much better than he ever got credit for in the Bronx. He did not get shit for run support, and was always pulled too early.

    ^^^^what really irks me about Monty going to St.Louis……Yankees’ need for a good lefty on a pitching short staff;
    yes, BaBoone mishandled Monty, but then again, he normally mishandles his pitchers; this move alone makes
    Trashman an unfocused GM. What kind of bullshit to say this trade is for the future when your focus should be
    on this year’s team! Watching this team lose every 3 out of 4 falls on Hal S, Cashman and Boone. All I see is anger,
    frustration, & lack of urgency from management to the players.

    This might go down as one of, if not THE worst trade Cashman has ever made. Pitching staff was looking shaky. Starters were approaching innings thrown that they’ve never been close to in careers. Cashman trades a good starter, not great (at least not with us because BaBoone has no idea how to handle pitchers), and in exchange for a starting pitcher he picks up an injured outfielder who likely won’t even see the field and will create an even bigger issue/logjam out there. Cashman is a bumbling idiot as a GM. Imagine what a real GM could have done during Cashman’s tenure with these resources. Yet Cashman year after year gets caught with his pants down and shits the bed. He will go down as one of the worst GMs in Yankees history. I’ve been rooting for the collapse for weeks now as it is the only way Cashman and Boone are both gone next year, along with the rest of this incompetent coaching staff and front office analytic group. Now we just need Hal to kick the bucket so a real owner can come in here and bring the Yankees back to what they once were.

    Boone, after the game;

    "It's there and we can run away from this thing," Boone said. "And we got the dudes in there to do it. But we have to do it. If we don't score, it's tough to win."

    ..."If we don't score. it's tough to win."

    ...Uhhh, no shit, Sherlock !...That Boone guy is so cerebral :blush: ............for the umpteenth time, we shoulda brought back Showalter.

    My exact sentiments.

    During the post game press conference BaBoone said "ya know" 56 times... That's the sign of an unhinged manager, not to mention his pounding his fist on the table!
    I even played the DVR back and counted Fifty Six times, ya know!

    Amen!
    Trashman definitely has a thing for overloading outfields with pure garbage!
    That, with BaBoone on his fifth year with the Yankees, still and never will ever figure out how to work a pitching staff, and or a bullpen. He knows absolutely nothing about pitching and he never will.

    It really pisses me off when he talks about hanging out (regularly) in the Angels dugout, when his dad was playing in Anaheim. Being the son of a catcher, and hanging out with a MLB team around you, one would think he might have picked something up, but he must have been obviously occupied blowing fucking bubbles!!! Truth be told, blowing fucking bubbles, is the only skill he demonstrates on an MLB field....
    Hey Aaron blow this!!! (Rated X, meant for mature audiences only)!!!
