I like the pic effect, BG seems a little boring--especially in the upper right-hand corner, and the main text needs a little help. Overall its not too shabby, I'll give it a B-

If anything I would have gone into the layers and darkened up Hinrich instead of making him brighter and I would change the text personally.
I just don't like the backgrounds that have a whole lot of black like that...that's just me though, jeez.
