Schmidt versus martinez. Yanks need to rebound from that disgusting loss last night. Maybe even mr glass aka Stanton will grace us with his presence.

Let’s hope Martinez does not imitate Adam Oller, ex-Met refugee, in making Yankee batters
    look foolish.

Schmidt roughed up for 2 runs led by Vogt who ignited last night’s A’s victory. A’s 2 Yankees 0

This team is depressing. Can’t hit for shot against these Oakland iron mikes. Down 4-0 and still don’t have a hot. Splitting this series is unacceptable but that’s what we’re doing. Glad to see the joke of a player hicks back in the lineup who is about as useful as wet toilet paper. On September 1 they need to bring peraza up and install at short.

This team has one hit in the last 16 innings against the A's. I don't know what to say regarding something so ridiculous.

The silence of the Yankees’ bats wreak volumes as how this season will conclude…….not to mention where they
all can go! Please don’t want to hear the bullshit.

Another unclutch double play by lemehieau who has just sucked this year with runners RISP. Batting under .200 in those situations. Of course it would have helped if Rizzo was already on 2nd instead of tripping over forst base and having to go back there. This team is the keystone cops!

Not worried about DJL... he's been fighting a foot/toe issue but still suits up every day...he's been too good of a hitter for too long.

Regardless, does anyone here seriously believe this team is "built for the PS"?

The term "putrid" comes to mind.

Nope. They're too listless with no killer instinct.

A 48-81 team has just held the Yankees to 5 hits, 1 run over 20 innings. We’ll be hearing that injuries are
the main cause for this team’s performance since the All-Star break. Every year for the last 13 years
    mediocrity becomes the constant.

Paraza with another 4 hits in triple A. Why is this kid still down there. Bring his ass up here already

^^^^How this team operates is a total waste of young talent who in the end wind up on other ball clubs.
