i was walking out of the safeway right when it happened. my feet were vibrating with the sound of the gunshots. saw a bunch of people running out of the store and wifey and i hopped in our car and flew out of the lot. a bit shaken up to be honest. for fucks sake. THIS is what brings me out of my hibernation?

thanks for the wishes. we're fine; just glued to reddit and nextdoor cuz this podunk town doesn't have viable news outlets.. worried about how many people got hurt. i heard what seemed like 15 shots. initially thought the shooter was in a truck in the lot and ducked while sitting in the car while the shots rang out. didn't know which way to turn the car to exit the lot cuz i didn't want to run into the shooter. tell me again why we need access to assault rifles. those vibrations from what (we now found out) were about 100 feet away are hard to forget.
...its really tough to tell exactly what went down if there was in fact two shooters-- there is a press briefing by PD scheduled for 10:30pm
Reading the reddit it sounds like chaos in Bend right now. Sounds like one shooter is dead and another is being pursued around town by the police.
People jumping in defending the shooters and their rights to protect themselves with guns in 3…2…..1……
