Looks like the NBA wants to announce it during preseason.

Seattle will be the Supersonics again.

Las Vegas should be the Luck.

Hear me out on this…How about the “Hookers”

They can change their name to the hook shotters down the road when people protest the name.

    “LeBron James’ Las Vegas Hookers”

“…Lebrons Hookers off to a tough start to their franchise”

“…The hookers let down their owner LeBron James yet again”

I don't think that will make it through.

I’m sure it will be really nice to fly to Seattle and Vegas twice a year instead of Memphis/Minnesota.

The thunder would be the only other team that would make much sense. But Memphis is definitely a candidate geographically.

If it happens I would like to see 24-25. Either way - I would really love to see this happen.

Maybe if Kareem owned them. Call 'em the Sky Hookers. Have the cheerleaders dress as flight attendants.

Memphis or NOP should go to East.

Minny is the furthest east of any of the teams in the Western Conference. It's also way closer to Chicago, Milwaukee, Indy and Detroit than it is to Denver.

Yeah I think Minny should move to the east based on those other cities you listed. New Orleans and the Texas teams seem like a good fit. But is Minneapolis really further east than New Orleans? It does not look like it on a map or by longitude.

    Did you mean Memphis?

Besides, New Orleans is further east than Memphis anyways.

longitude, by degree is 3rd column; minute is 4th. Lower = further east

looks like Memphis is further east than New Orleans by 1 minute (if I'm reading it right)

    ******************************************************************

by the way, since latitude is 1st column and higher = further north:

the next time Toronto says "we are the north", tell them to fuck off

Yeah, I don't know what I was looking at last night but New Orleans is definitely further east. Still, Houston is the closest NBA city to New Orleans and the other Texas teams and OKC are closer than the Florida teams... Atlanta is pretty close.

It is, just barely. I would move Memphis to the eastern conference anyway.

Canada has a No Felon law to move or travel. Seattle unfortunately would not be allowed to enter Canada. Even for Starbucks which has very few actual "Stars".

Instead of moving teams east, make two new conferences. South and the midwest
