They don't want that. They want accountability and freedom. They want to make sure the government is working for us. The right are the ones trying to control everyone. Trying to take away rights.

Sure, but Democrats are closer to fascism than communism.

Those are far opposite ends of the spectrum and are both against the democratic process. There is alot in between. Socialism and communism are not the same thing.

    True.

The Republican party is already there.

'Abhorrent and Anti-Democratic': Outrage as DNC Panel Blocks Vote on Dark Money Ban

"The Democratic Party, by not allowing this resolution to come to the floor, is complicit in the railroading of democracy itself," said former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner.

    https://www.commondreams.org/news/2...-outrage-dnc-panel-blocks-vote-dark-money-ban

The DNC won't vote to ban dark money.

Of course they won't. Billionaires own the republicans, and the democrats.

Let’s Stop Pretending America Is A Functioning Democracy

A functioning democracy could easily dispatch Donald Trump and his doppelgängers.

A failed democracy and bankrupt liberalism assures their ascendancy.

Not sure I like the tag “Dark” money.
Makes it sound bad or even illegal.
It’s not. It’s simply money that the donator does not want traced or seen as the source.
That is not illegal and does not have to be tainted.

    It should absolutely be illegal.

Every $25 donation made anonymous is considered "Dark" money. You do understand that right?

It should all be traceable. We can't afford anything else in our election system.

I don’t want anyone knowing who I donate to or how much. Sorry I’ll never vote for anyone who wants to make that law.

There are records of how you vote, which is accessable to many government agencies upon request.

Why not have donations be handled the same way?

You obviously have not worked an election. There are not records on how i vote. Only records on what i say and do through social media and surveys which i don't do, and which party i am a member of.
My ballot has an envelope that has my signature. That is how they check if it's a legal ballot. Inside there is a green secrecy envelop. The two are separated. They have to be by law. There are people in place making sure nobody's ballot is logged or scanned just for that purpose.

They know what primaries you voted in. As well as your personal information, ssn, drivers license number, address, etc.

It would be very easy to make your donation just as "private".

So that has anything to do with "How I Vote"? You don't get it. By the way. Exactly who is "They"

    It's public information in Oregon
    https://www.ncsl.org/research/elect...s-to-and-use-of-voter-registration-lists.aspx

If you vote in democratic primaries it's a safe bet how you vote...
