So Democrats are just poor victims who get bent over by Republicans and can't fight back. And that's why we should vote for them? I think following the money sort of proves Dem incentives lie in letting Republicans get what they are asking for much of the time.
No, they can fight back. Unfortunately, they don't much do that. They need to learn to play hard ball. The Republicans aren't going to change their ways and trying to point a finger at their bullshit, doesn't really seem to work anymore to get votes. There are definitely some Democrats who are incentivized by letting the Republicans get their way. But, I do believe there are more Dems than Republicans trying to do the right thing.
Yes, I think just by virtue of the stances Democrats take publicly, it leads more honorable and level headed people to be Dems than Republicans. For sure.

Fact is it kind of is about home ownership. I own a home with some land in Clackamas County. Pretty close to the National Guard base. If I decide to sell it most anyone can make an offer. If someone offers me twice the value in cash I’m probably going to take it.
