The Broncos are probably a good fit for him.https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...-including-165-million-guaranteed-sources-say
I know my Seahawks are going to suck this year, but I'm glad we didnt give Wilson this kind of $$$.

I don't know. That's probably the going rate for an elite QB these days. And if you want to win a Super Bowl you have to have an elite QB in my opinion.
Same with the Packers and Rogers.True. But hard to build a super bowl team around a QB who takes up that much of your salary cap. Part of the reason why NE and now TB has been successful is because Brady takes less $. And KC was dominating when Mahomes was on his rookie contract. Same with the Seahawks when Russ was on his rookie deal. We had $ to put together an amazing defense.

Grant can't be extended for 4 more months. What about Little and Grant? Are we extending them before the season?
Grant can't be extended for 4 more months.
It's 6 months after the trade is official (July 7th).That is good news. Let him play for a couple of months to see how he fits in. My question is what exactly is the rule? What is the significance of that date? And what is the deadline date?

When we refer to teams, if we're using the city name, we use the singular ("Portland is killing the Lakers tonight!), but if we use the team nickname, we use the plural ("The Lakers are just throwing up bricks"), even if the nickname itself is singular ("The Jazz are hitting more in this quarter than the Heat have hit all game").
Yet when it comes to Euro soccer, I've noticed they only refer to the city names, and they always go plural ("Chelsea have beaten ManU"; "Real Madrid are 7 points up on Barca"). It's that unique to soccer, or is that how they comment on hoops over there? Do they do this with MLS commentary as well? Is there a divide between how American and European analysts speak about teams? Are there any analysts for NFL/NBA/MLB that do this? And what about hockey?
Anyway... that was a random thought of mine this morning, so I figured there was no better place to post it than this thread.
Its the weekend! You just made my brain hurt.
And that's my random post of the day.
So you're saying it was a Brain Bender?
