Anyone into the Martial Arts at all? I did Tae Kwon Do in middle school, got to Brown Belt but had to stop due to a medical condition. Thinking of maybe getting into Jiu Jitsu. Never know these days when you'll need it.
Where? You are in California no? This is our Gym https://www.tapology.com/gyms/1038-503-west-coast-jiu-jitsu
I swear on everything that the same dorks who played D&D growing up were also into Martial Arts. Like they have their deep down urge to be tough and kill things. SIGH.... spending so much time in your mom's basements must really take a toll. SIGH.....
Martial arts is good for kids for discipline/exercise. Teaches focus! The whole point of martial arts is to learn how to avoid conflict. I think for kids and teens, its a very constructive thing to get into.
Not at all. I took Tae for 2 years after highschool. Then got wrestled down to the ground in a backyard sparring session in under a minute and realized i dont know dick about up close, body to body brawling. Thats when i started paying attention to the ufc that was just starting to take off. Once you watch a gracie fight you realize how bad ass jiu jitsu is. i bet @Fairly-Hard (soft) can relate. Lol
Get your stereotypes right dog, that’s math they are born being good at. Although my wife disproves this stereotype, she’s terrible at math, I am much better at it than her and I am white.
