Billick to ReturnDecember 28, 2005By Adam H. BeasleyBrian Billick will remain the Ravens' head coach for the 2006 season, owner Steve Bisciotti announced at a team meeting Wednesday.Brian Billick, shown speaking to quarterback Kyle Boller, will be back on the sidelines in 2006."We have an ongoing and extensive process to find ways to win," Bisciotti said in a statement released by the team. "This included a thorough evaluation of Brian Billick. Collectively, we concluded that continuing with Brian as head coach gives us the best opportunity to win."This has easily been the most difficult season of Billick's seven-year stint with the Ravens, but the team has finished strong.Baltimore, which started the season 2-7, has won three of its last four games and would reach 7-9 with a win over Cleveland Sunday.Billick has a career record of 62-49 and won a Super Bowl in 2000, just his second season on the job. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article.jsp?id=7471_____________________I think Kyle Boller just won Billick his job back. lol well we're gonna bring in a veteran or a guy like Bollinger or Rivers hopefully to make some competition but Boller deserves it. It's not all Billicks fault, the only bad thing is against Denver when it was 12-3 being 4th down from the 3...he went for it. Kick the field goal and make it a 6 point game and they scored a touchdown at the end which would have won it.I'm tired of hearing once a coach has 1 bad season you have to get rid of him, im glad he's back even though he annoys the hell out of me

I dont see Young, Whitehearst, or Basanez as potential Jets....If we were to draft a QB it would more likely be Cutler or Jacobs (although if they are 1st rounders again, i would be tempted to go so far as to trade up for them with our round 2). I also see whoever the Jets choose to draft would be our #3 QB for their rookie season, not the #2, as Bollinger and Pennington would fight it out for the first 2 spots. As of right now, Brooks Bollinger is our only quarterback on our roster who has had a full season under Mike Heimerdinger's teaching, I cant see the Jets getting rid of him.
