hahah " i don't think i should have the kind of fan support i already do...." -- jabari i really like his humility. I don't think he realizes how good he is.
Chauncey on the SF starter......... Not who is the best player but who compliments the other starters. (Paraphrasing) I have been wondering about this as well which is why I would not dismiss Winslow starting. He showed last season in that small sample size, that he and Nurk built a quick chemistry. With Nurk, Grant, Ant, and Dame on the court, we don't need a scorer. He might be a good fit.
Winslow/Nurk have chemistry. So does Winslow/Hart...I can still see those two double teaming the ball, stealing it, and heading the other way. Winslow=DEFENSE!!! This team is going to be 100% reliable on chemistry, which is why I have always felt Mr. C has done a flawless job of assembling the correct cast of characters. Versatile, hungry, with a chip on the shoulder, and a superstar leader to guide the way. Could be a lot worse.
If Joe C. had only gotten a "ham sandwich" in return for Norm & roco, it was a win. Like I sang when it happened...."addition by subtraction"...is a theory which does require 'out of the box' thinking. But, I digress.
The timing of it was awful. CJ trade or not it didn't make sense at the time. If and only if Winslow and keon become serviceable does the trade make any sort of positive dividends.
grant was asked about playing with nurk, given nurk likes to pass and grant said he likes to cut to the basket and that theyre gonna have a good connection to me it seems like this will be the first time since noah vonleh, that nurks gonna have a perfect target for backdoor passes and in general, grant seems like a perfect fit for him, on both ends of the floor
