A while back, one of my friends told me that the Pack were talking about sending Rodgers to NFLE this year. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that, or can anyone provide a link? It don't make a lot of sense to me for them to do that, unless they believe Favre is definitely coming back.

Let him get back into the practice of being a #1 QB before the training camp comes if he is going to start next year.

It's one thing to play 16 games in the NFL, much less fulfill an NFLE schedule and then basically jump right into the stretch of an NFL season. Training camp, preseason, reg season. I see your point, but to me, as young and inexperienced as he is, I'd just think it'd be too long of a stretch for him physically.

We arent sure on what the Packers are looking at doing with him, but I think it would help him ease into the transition of College to NFL much easier.

Who am I to say. It worked for Delhomme, Warner, and a few others, so you're prolly right.

I think Rodgers could use this too. NFL Europe teams are definately a good transition from College to NFL, and supposing Favre retires, and Rodgers has to take on the #1 spot in Green Bay, he would have a much easier time adjusting to the spot because of the experience of playing in the NFL Europe. I hope Jason Campbell does NFL Europe.

Aaron Rodgers has played this year. The 52-3 win over the Saints, and some more games. Hasn't done much in his brief playing time though. I don't think they should send him to NFLE. They have to keep him. Favre will probably return (even though he shouldn't) and with the shitty team they have, I think Favre will get injured and miss time for the first time in his career.

If Favre is gonna return, I say send Rodgers to NFLE for some experience.I donno if it would be a good idea to send him to NFLE if Favre is retiring cuz he might be too banged up by the time the NFL 06 season starts

I think they shouldn't send Rodgers to NFLE because I think he's gonna learn more from one of the greastest quarterbacks ever in Favre. The Packers should recognize that Brett's time in Green Bay is up and it's time for Rodgers, or some younger talent to take over. Favre should retire and let the young guys step in.

YaI agree with you. If Rodgers is going to start he definalty won't go to the NFLE. If Farve stays which he won't I look for Rodgers to go down to NFLE.

You can't learn from Favre when there is no games going on and Rogers needs to learn to play at a higher level than college. You have no idea as to Brett returning (which is doubtful) and the fact that he has barely played in the NFL. Look at the list written up there and some of the amazing players that came out of it. He could definitley use the help overseas.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (HandZ21 @ Jan 3 2006, 12:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>YaI agree with you. He definitley needs the exp. which he will not get from someone who is retired unless he decides to stay in touch and help the staff.
